Community Involvement
The Compak Team recognizes the need for giving back and making a positive contribution to our society. Compak has focused on Financial Literacy for the local youth. Lack of financial awareness and opportunities cause millions of people across the country to make financial decisions that are detrimental to creating a financially secure life.
The Compak team has helped develop and implement the following programs to help support financial literacy for the local youth:
Compak’s High School Internship – The firm has developed a 2 week “Wealth Management – Theory & Practice” internship. Each year Compak hopes to select 10 summer interns from high schools to participate in a rigorous and comprehensive program.
University of California – Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business, Center of Investment & Wealth Management (CIWM) – Board Membership: Compak’s Feroz Ansari is a current and supporting board member of CIWM and our team participates in the financial literacy and life planning program called LIFEvest. LIFEvest is a residential program that brings 60 high school students from underprivileged families to UC-Irvine for a life changing experience.
Compak Asset Management: Fidelity Investments 2015 “Be Greater” Award Winner – Compak directed the $15,000 charitable donation from Fidelity Investment (FCCS) to LifeVest.
CIWM-“Investments, Financial Planning & You” – The Compak team led the creation and launch of a high school financial literacy program.
UCI Veterans in Higher Education – Feroz Ansari delivered an intimate workshop for Veterans at the University of California – Irvine. The program was titled “Financial Literacy – Your Path To A Meaningful & Happy Life”.
